Required - Personal Work using EFT

Doing your own personal work is an essential part of becoming a competent practitioner. It’s not just walking your talk, it’s getting to know, and understand yourself at a deeper level. From the start of the training you will be shown how to use EFT, and asked to use it daily on yourself. There are swap sessions during the actual training, to practice techniques. These are not always the ideal setting to clear your own issues or patterns. I find it best to keep the training for learning, and work with a practitioner for the personal work.

You are expected to have at least four sessions with an experienced practitioner during the training. You may work with a practitioner of your choice, or you can ask us to introduce you to a practitioner that we think will be a good fit for you. This has many benefits ;

  • you get to experience EFT from a client perspective and understand how it feels to receive different techniques

  • you will be able to resolve some of the issues that come up for you during training

  • it will give you the capacity to work more deeply with clients

  • you get to see how other practitioners work.

Certification

When you graduate on completion of the training, and have submitted all case studies, you will receive an Advanced Practitioner Certificate which gives you the ability to obtain insurance and practice Emotional Freedom Technique to a high level of proficiency.  If you are an existing holistic practitioner, or therapist in another discipline, you can usually add EFT to your insurance at no extra cost.

This training has met the requirements to become Accredited with the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (www.iphm.co.uk). You can join IPHM after graduation from the training, if you choose.

On completion of the training you will:

• Be able to use EFT correctly and competently with a range of client issues such as physical pain and other health issues, fears and phobias, traumatic events, and how to take progressive steps with clients who may have more complex issues

• Understand the client/practitioner relationship, and how to create and maintain boundaries

• Have a clarity on the type of clients you'd like to work with and the direction you wish to take to take your EFT practice in

• Be aware of the legalities involved as a practitioner, and have all the necessary paperwork in place to begin your EFT practice

• Have the qualification to obtain professional liability and indemnity insurance for your EFT business

• Have accumulated 15 hours of self-tapping, completed swap sessions and worked with a number of case study clients

After The Training - Ongoing Learning

You are strongly encouraged to attend regular supervision (details will be shared on the training) and continuous professional development events, to refresh your skills. Supervision is where you bring your questions, and get other perspectives on client work.

Learning, and life, are continual processes and skills are continually evolving, especially in the EFT world.

Further learning is also a great way to build relationships within the supportive community of EFT practitioners.
